About the Scheme
The CM Maryam Nawaz Sharif has launched the scheme to provide relief to the poor families of Punjab affected by the continuous increase in electricity prices. As solar panel prices have massively increased, this is good news for low-income households.
The government has decided to provide solar panels to households having a monthly consumption of up to 200 units.

What is the CM Punjab Solar Scheme?
A budget of 10 billion rupees has been allocated to CM Punjab for the program of Chief Minister Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme. This scheme aims to provide solar panels with complete wiring, batteries, and inverters to households guaranteeing them electricity bill reduction.
Eligibility Criteria
Households having monthly consumption of up to 200 units under the following categories are eligible to apply for free solar panel scheme.

You can apply through two methods.
Through the web portal: Register and apply at cmsolarscheme.punjab.gov.pk
Through SMS: Send your reference number and CNIC number to 8800.

Who Cannot apply for Chief Minister Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme
• You can’t apply If you are involved in electricity theft.
• If you have more than one meter at a single residence.
• If you are using a default meter.
• If you are involved in payment default during the last 12 months.
